Using only winter daylight we could just shoot until 3pm in the studio. And Tomi Kono’s improvised headpieces made from birds and feathers was like seeing a master couturier create magic on the model. A very very inspiring shoot day. There were so many good images from this story that the cover discussion was reversed. “Which one to choose, there are too many good ones?” The kind of luxury problem you come across when shooting with Julia.
